Dillingham is located in southwest Alaska at the head of Nushagak Bay and at the confluence of the Wood and Nushagak Rivers in Bristol Bay. The City borders the largest remaining wild salmon fishery in the world creating a natural economic base for the region. There are no roads from the Alaska Highway System. A twenty-five mile paved road connects Dillingham to the neighboring community of Alekna

gik which borders the largest state park in the nation, the Wood Tikchik State Park. Dillingham is also headquarters for nearby Togiak National Wildlife Refuge, home to walruses, seals, migratory birds, fish, and includes one of the largest wild herring fisheries in the world.

❤️ HELP KEEP THE SENIOR CENTER OPEN ❤️

The Dillingham Senior Center is asking for community support to help continue services through the end of June.

Our elders rely on meals, transportation, and daily opportunities to gather with friends and neighbors. Due to a funding shortfall, we are seeking both food and financial donations to help bridge the gap and keep services operating.

🥫 Food donations are welcome. Food donations may also be purchased at AC and Bigfoot and left with the store for Senior Center pick-up.

💵 Financial donations help cover fuel for the Senior Van, heating fuel, and propane for cooking.

Every donation—large or small—helps.

If you would like to donate or learn more about current needs, please contact the Senior Center at 907-842-1231.
