🚨IMPORTANT🚨
Has your child ever come home with random questions or statements about political topics in America, such as “Did the parties switch?” or “Wasn’t this nation built on slavery?”
To some parents, such questions may seem like a common inquiries with no major consequences. However, such “common inquiries” are red flags of political indoctrination that start with slowly transforming the way your child thinks about politics. It is true that almost every student in this country has faced an onslaught of leftist propaganda in English/History class, whether they realize it or not. Just because you live in South Carolina does not mean that you are immune to this crisis as almost EVERY high school student in America has been trampled by such beliefs.
It all starts in early high school when a 9th grade history teacher makes a sarcastic remark about Christopher Columbus during their lesson or when an English teacher assigns a “harmless” text to read about Amanda Gorman’s bravery at Joe Biden’s inauguration. And then boom… by the end of high school, your child has been taught the entire groundwork for critical race theory.
Of course not of all this is deliberate because most teachers genuinely wish to remove politics from the classroom. However, innate bias coupled in with some teachers who are willing to push their beliefs on their students (almost every student has had such a teacher) can transform the entire environment of a school and how students think about politics.
If you think that your child is safe from such bias, you are sadly mistaken and what makes the whole situation even worse is that your child probably can’t even recognize instances when political beliefs are pushed on them because most of the time they simply take it in as part of the “curriculum.”
Students shouldn’t have to fake their beliefs in high school or submit to leftist ideas in order to maintain their GPA levels or gain the affection of a teacher. That’s not how school works. School is about learning the groundwork for a career or college, not the groundwork for the Democrat Party platform.
So, if you don’t want this situation to get worse, which it already is, stand up to your school board to ensure that any leftist agenda is REMOVED from your child’s education. Also, closely monitor your kid’s assignments (ESPECIALLY HISTORY AND ENGLISH) for political bias. Finally, ensure that your kids know the truth of this nation and what makes America great. If we don’t act now, South Carolina may become the next New York, California, or Massachusetts because our students represent the future of state and U.S. politics.
