This month, we're celebrating Kathleen for the incredible time, thoughtfulness, and dedication she continues to give to the youth and family on her case.
Kathleen lives outside the area where her case is located, which means she has made a significant investment of time and travel to be present and provide meaningful advocacy. She has truly gone above and beyond to support the youth and family.
Kathleen also participated in our recent book club/author study and immediately put what she learned into practice. She took the time to consider a parent's perspective and think creatively about what could support that parent's relationship with their child. One example was her advocacy around an opportunity for the parent to spend additional time caring for their child. Although the request was initially not approved, Kathleen continued to thoughtfully advocate for the idea. Her persistence ultimately helped create an opportunity that supports the family's path toward reunification.
Kathleen's care, persistence, and willingness to think outside the box are making a meaningful difference. Thank you, Kathleen, for your incredible advocacy and for always keeping the best interests of the youth at the heart of your work! ❤️
