The City will begin their Street Preservation project on Sunday, August 9th. Please have all vehicles off the streets being worked on. If vehicles are not moved they will be towed at owner's expense.
Sunday, August 9th: Montana Street and Washington Street from Helena to Reeder
Monday August 10th: Idaho Street and Pacific Street from Reeder to Poindexter
Tuesday August 11th: Washington Street from Reeder to Poindexter
Sunday August 16th: Idaho Street and Pacific from Helena to Reeder

There is currently a scam using the City of Dillon. The scammers are using our homepage for anyone applying for zoning applications, etc. that there is a charge related to. If you have applied for anything and have received an email asking for payment please send it to the Dillon Police Department. Please DO NOT pay. The City only takes money at City Hall. Please call 406-683-4245 if you have any questions.

The 500 block of North Pacific Street will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday, My 20th) for service line repairs. A detour will take place, but please drive cautiously if travel in the area is necessary.

Montana Mural Monday: “Postcard from Dillon” is a creative and colorful way to showcase the legacy and landscape of the town and the surrounding area. Painted in 2024 by Katie Cranston and Sarah Hansen, this mural was funded in part by a grant from the Montana Arts Council through the Beaverhead Chamber of Commerce, Tourism & Development. In addition to serving as a scenic selfie spot for all who visit Dillon, the artwork contributes to the unique sense of place of this charming and historic town.
