Beaverhead FCCLA took 13 amazing members to the State Leadership Conference at MSU this week! We had a blast learning leadership skills, making friends, learning new skills, representing BCHS and presenting Star Events. The ladies all got bronze medals in their Star Events! The gentleman got to hangout with guest speaker Mike Hall and worked on leadership skills and making a difference in their community. We also received Gold Star Chapter again this year!⭐️🌟To top it off we also won $500 for our 3rd place finish in the Vision Zero competition! Whoop whoop these are amazing kids and leaders in our community! I’m one tired but proud advisor!❤️🖤

Celebrating National FCCLA week, CTE month and Vision Zero week! Today was our annual gym day! Thanks to the Beaverhead Ambulance for teaching sidewalk CPR, Dillon Police Department for answering questions and the 406 Coalition!

Beaverhead FCCLA along with BPA, National Honor Society, FFA and Key Club worked together to shop and assemble 7 holiday food baskets for families at BCHS. Clubs also sponsored 40 $10 gift cards for students who need a little extra cheer this holiday season! 🎄❤️

Beaverhead FCCLA members chose 6 tags off the Giving Tree and 1 adult tag from the Edward Jones tree. Members voted $100 a person, committee members shopped, wrapped and delivered the presents! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays 🎅🏻🧑‍🎄🎁🎄🕊️

That a girl!!

In Tyler Gibson's words, "I will be attending University of Montana Western in the fall to get my bachelor's degree in kinesiology. Once I complete my degree I will go on to grad school to become a physical therapist." Tyler (right), our Beaverhead County High School scholarship recipient, was presented with her award by our own Charelle Hinkey, DPT, from our Dillon OrthoRehab clinic! Tyler achieved many great things during her high school tenure. Tyler participated in volleyball, basketball, wrestling, softball, FCCLA, FFA, National Honor Society, Youth Connections, Lunch Buddy, yearbook, and was captain of her volleyball and softball teams. Tyler worked, in addition to volunteering to coach volleyball camp, softball camp and 12U teams, and football camp. We're excited to celebrate Tyler's achievements, and look forward to seeing her success in her chosen field of Physical Therapy in the future! Congrats!

Day 3 of Vision Zero week! Beaverhead FCCLA hosted speaker Natalie Marti. She was amazing and her story and message are so powerful!
