We are just over a week away from Fair, and we would love to see you all at the 4-H & FFA Livestock Sale on Saturday, September 5 at 1:30 PM!

Resale animals are available at the following live weight prices (the buyer is responsible for processing fees):
Beef: $2.75/pound
Pigs, Sheep and Goats: $2.25/pound

ATTENTION 4-H & FFA LIVESTOCK MEMBERS:

Just a reminder of the Mandatory Livestock Meeting this Saturday at 9:00 A.M. at the 4-H Building. We will NOT be having a meeting at weigh-ins this year, so it is very important to attend on Saturday. If you absolutely cannot attend on Saturday, please call the Extension Office or send us a Facebook Message PRIOR to Saturday morning.

We look forward to seeing you all Saturday morning!

The Sand Creek Fire has now breached the top of Maverick Mountain. Our hearts are with everyone being impacted by this tragic event as it unfolds. Thank you to the firefighters working tirelessly on mitigation measures.

FREE ICE CREAM:
Beaverhead County 4-H has been donated a new ice cream machine for the concession stand and we are testing it out today. Stop by the 4-H Building at the fairgrounds from now until 2ish (or until gone). Donations to Beaverhead County 4-H accepted and appreciated.

We are just under a month away from Fair, and we would love to see you all at the 4-H & FFA Livestock Sale on Saturday, September 5! If you plan to or think you may purchase an animal at the sale, please scan the QR Code below to register as a buyer or call the Extension Office at (406)683-3785.

Resale animals are animals that the buyer does not retain and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis for fair market value. This is a great way to get locally-grown meat and support our local youth! Please give us a call, send us a direct message, or stop by the Extension Office (205 E Center ST, Dillon) to get on the resale list.

We are hosting a researcher today from Montana State University that is conducting research on how people view AI Chatbots for mental health support. He will be located in the Tom Welch Conference Room in the Treasurer’s building in Dillon (102 N Washington Street). Walk-ins are welcome. Please see the incentive structure in the flyer below.
