Location- SC FFA Center (many call it the FFA Campground) in North Myrtle Beach (Cherry Grove), SC.

Our classes will be held in the Guest House living room or on the back porch overlooking Cherry Grove.

Dates: September 21-24, 2026

September 21- Welcome Dinner 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
September 22- 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM sessions, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM farm tour + dinner
September 23- 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM sessions, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM farm tour + dinner
September 24- 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM- CPR/First Aid and Graduation

Cost:
$200 w/lodging
Pictures coming, but the guest house has 8 full beds in dual occupancy rooms.

$100 w/o lodging

Registration for the 2026 BASICS OF BEEKEEPING HYBRID COURSE is now live. Class begins September 15th.

This course is designed to give new and experienced beekeepers the knowledge needed to be self-sustaining beekeepers in the modern era. Whether you intend to keep bees as a business or a hobby, this course will prepare you with the solid foundation every beekeeper must master to be successful. This course combines lectures, reading assignments, and field days in working bee yards to build necessary skills and help new beekeepers get comfortable working with these amazing creatures. Experienced beekeepers also will benefit from the updated information about honeybee health and pest management.
