Wrapped up our chicken feed fermentation box today. It will house 3 5 gallon buckets of each of our 3 feeds. No stink in the shop and no more loss to the wild animals of Laughery Valley.

We ferment the grains for all of our poultry. Not only does fermentation preserve the vitamins in your grains, it also creates new vitamins, primarily B vitamins like folic acid, riboflavin, niacin, and thiamin. In short, fermenting your chicken feed leads to better eggs and better hen health. If you can keep the raccoons out of it that is.
