Dillsburg Borough Holiday Door Decorating Contest
Decorate to be the brightest in Dillsburg. Judging will be based on the following criteria:
Creativity: original, unique design and creative use of decoration/lights
Arrangement: display and placement of decorations
Overall Appearance: color coordination, balance, and overall attractiveness
Contest open to persons or businesses.
The business or persons home must be located within the borough to qualify.
Contest is limited to what can be seen from the street at night.
People or animals are not permitted to be part of the display.
Participants are requested to keep their house decorated through 1/1/25 so the community can enjoy them.
Judging will take place during the evenings of the week of December 8th from dusk to 9:00 pm.
Winners will be notified on December 24th. Judges’ decisions are final.
Entry deadline is December 2nd at 4:00pm.
Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Dillsburg Borough Office will be closing at noon on Wednesday, November 27th and closed on Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th for Thanksgiving.

The Dillsburg Borough office will be closed on Monday, October 14th, for Columbus Day.

Dillsburg Borough will have a Planning Commission and a Zoning Hearing Board seat available starting in 2025. If you are interested in either of these appointed positions, please fill out the volunteer form (found on our website at www.dillsburg.com) and submit it to the Borough Office.

Dillsburg Borough is aware of the situation with the light on RT 15. The company who handles the maintenance has been contacted and a Tech is reviewing it.
