Jacob's Ladle Jacob's Ladle is an non-profit ministry designed by God in honor of our son Jacob Bain.

Our goal is to pick up where Jacob left off; Reach the lost and grieved through evangelism and compassion..

Yesterday’s incident in Lexington may have turned out to be a hoax, but that does not mean the fear, stress, and emotional impact were not real.

In situations like this, crisis does not always show up immediately. Sometimes children, parents, school staff, and even first responders may seem fine at first, only to feel anxious, unsettled, emotional, withdrawn, irritable, or overwhelmed later. That can be a normal response after a stressful event.

Jacob’s Ladle wants our community to know that support is available. If your child is having a hard time processing what happened, if your family feels unsettled, or if you simply need someone to talk to, pray with you, or help you think through next steps, we are available to offer compassionate chaplaincy presence and basic crisis support.

Sometimes early support can make a real difference before stress grows heavier.

Please feel free to reach out..

We want to invite you to GriefShare at Faith Temple in Lexington.
That will be on April 16th from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.

This is a place where we come together—we don’t do life alone.
A place where you can carry your loved one’s memory while also finding healing.

Come as you are. You don’t have to carry this alone.

02/18/2026

Just a gentle reminder that we will gather for prayer and worship tomorrow morning, as we do every Wednesday, from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
If you’re carrying something heavy, if you’re celebrating something good, or if you simply need a quiet place to seek the Lord
Come as you are. There is no agenda — just hearts turned toward God and a love for this community.

Happy New Year 2026! 🌟

In 2025, millions turned to Scripture for hope—and Isaiah 41:10 led the way again:

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

In seasons of joy and in moments of struggle, God reminded us: His presence is real and His strength is enough.

2026 isn’t promised to be easy, whatever comes—celebrations, challenges, quiet days, or big changes—our faithful God walks every step with us. He gives courage when we’re afraid, peace when we’re anxious, and hope when we’re weary.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just need to keep trusting the One who does. PRAY often, stay rooted in His Word, and let His Spirit guide you—one day at a time.

This year, may you know deeper peace and grow stronger in faith.
You are not alone. You are deeply known. And you are safe in His hands.

What’s one hope or prayer you’re carrying into 2026? I’d love to hear and pray with you. 🙏💛
