💧 Stormwater Information Session – Join Us June 8

The Village of Dimondale has been issued a stormwater permit by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE). As part of this permit, the Village is required to manage stormwater runoff entering our storm sewer system.

One requirement of the permit is that certain development projects creating more than 200 square feet of new impervious surface (such as rooftops, driveways, patios, or similar surfaces) must include stormwater management measures.

Before the regular Village Council meeting on Monday, June 8, Village staff will provide an overview of these requirements, explain why they are necessary, and discuss how property owners and developers can meet the stormwater standards associated with new development.

We encourage residents, property owners, contractors, and anyone interested to attend and bring their questions.
