Dingmans Bridge is open to all traffic across the river! There is a very short detour on the PA side. Please see details below. Note that, to add to the confusion, Google Maps has labeled the bridge as “possibly closed” for our annual maintenance. We will remain open this year.

From NJ-once you cross the Dingmans Bridge into PA, you will follow the detour sign onto the NPS road, which brings you out to Route 209 about 1/4 mile south of the intersection with 739.

From PA-take Route 209 south of the intersection with 739 for approx. 1/4 mile. Turn onto the NPS road marked "detour." This short road will take you back to Route 739 just before the Dingmans Bridge.

We re starting our repair week in a few minutes. We ll see you folks at 4pm on Friday. Look for some new deck and there will be some new steel you can't see.
