🚑 Today marks the start of National EMS Week, celebrated this year from May 17–23, 2026.
EMS Week is a time to recognize the dedicated professionals who answer the call every day and night to provide emergency medical care, comfort, and support when it is needed most. This year’s theme, “Improving Outcomes, Together,” highlights the teamwork that makes emergency care possible — from EMTs and paramedics to dispatchers, support personnel, educators, supervisors, and medical directors.
At Delaware Township Volunteer Ambulance Corps, we are proud to serve our community and proud to stand alongside EMS professionals everywhere who work tirelessly to protect the health and safety of others. Whether responding to emergencies, providing lifesaving treatment, supporting public health, or helping people through some of their most difficult moments, EMS professionals make a difference each and every day.
Throughout this week, we celebrate the commitment, compassion, skill, and resilience of everyone who helps make EMS possible. Thank you to all EMS professionals — here in our community and across the country — for your service and dedication.
💙 Thank you for being there when it matters most.
