Thank you HGT Fitness Dinuba, and their clients, for the generous donation toward helping unhoused and food-insecure families in our community.

☀️ SUMMER SWEAT FOR A GREAT CAUSE! 💪❤️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, worked out, and supported our Summer Sweat event!

Because of your participation, we were able to donate $1,140 to Open Gate Ministries right here in Dinuba. ❤️

Open Gate does incredible work in our community, providing shelter for families and individuals in need, food distribution, and support to help people get back on their feet. Their impact reaches thousands of people throughout Dinuba and our surrounding communities every year.

That’s what made this event about so much more than just a workout. We got to come together, get active, have some fun, and use fitness as a way to give back to the community we call home.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who participated and helped make this possible. We look forward to continuing to support Open Gate Ministries and the amazing work they do. ❤️

A note from our Thrift Store, located at 133 S. L Street, in Dinuba, which supports the family shelter:

We appreciate and gladly accept donations at our donation door in the alley Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9:30-4:30.

Items we do not accept (due to safety, hygiene, size, or legal restrictions):

1. Large appliances (refrigerators, washer/dryer, air conditioners, etc)

2. Mattresses and box springs (also includes futons and bed pillows)

3. Baby items (carseats, boosters, high chairs, cribs, playpens, strollers, walkers, bouncers, etc.)

4. Electronics (TVs, outdated stereo equipment, printers, computers, and other electronics that don’t meet current safety standards)

5. Hazardous materials (flammable liquids, chemicals, lead-based paint, etc)

6. Bicycles and large exercise equipment

7. Furniture that is broken, stained, or unsellable (please call the store about furniture donations)
No sleeper sofas will be accepted

8. Building materials left from construction that cannot be resold

9. Tires, rims, or other car parts

Please note- Due to the increased illegal dumping and costs incurred as a result, we will be giving pictures and video of faces, vehicles and license plates of illegal dumping violations to the police department.

Thank you, ARC Reedley, for the wonderful Summer Activity Bags. Our kids had a great time playing with the water balloons today, and enjoyed the snacks too. And thank you also for your faithful service to Open Gate Food Distribution every Tuesday. Your helpful hands packing bags feed 80-100 families every week!

Food Distribution pop-up at 12:30pm today (Tuesday). Bags include gallons of fresh milk, frozen fish,fresh fruit & canned/dry goods. Come to the pantry at 511 N. K Street (Open Gate), line forms at 12:30pm, while supplies last.
