Application for Alfred Street Baptist Church (ASBC) Foundation Scholarships

This Scholarship Application Registration Deadline is APRIL 18TH.

The ASBC Foundation annually awards scholarships that range from $1,000 to $30,000. The majority of the scholarships are non-renewable, one-time awards, however, we also award several that are renewable for up to 4 years ($20,000 - $30,000). Those who complete the application and meet the general eligibility requirements will be considered for all scholarships, some of which have further specific guidelines/requirements.

3 years of making a difference 🏔️

Last week JBLM Rainier Rocks celebrated its 3 Year anniversary at the Lewis Army Museum, by awarding its second ROTC scholarship to ROTC cadet Gavin Thiessen and honoring the legacy of I Corps Commanding General, LTG Brunson whose guidance has been vital since the chapter’s inception.

The past Thursday, the JBLM Rainier Rocks at Joint Base Lewis-McChord hosted COL Kangas, Commander of 189th Infantry Brigade 189th Infantry Brigade, for a Leadership Professional Development (LPD) session titled "OC/T Lessons Learned and How to Build a Championship Team” held at the Lewis Army Museum. The event covered some great leadership lessons learned for building a Championship Team and how to thrive as a leader in the Army. The JBLM Rainier Rocks Chapter continues to thrive in the Pacific Northwest.

Last week, the JBLM Rainier Rocks at Joint Base Lewis-McChord hosted BG Harrington, Commanding General of the 1st Multi-Domain Task Force (MDTF), for a Leadership Professional Development (LPD) session titled "Leading in Multi-Domain Operations” held at the Lewis Army Museum. The event covered some great leadership lessons learned and served as a fantastic way to start the summer. The JBLM Rainier Rocks Chapter continues to thrive in the Pacific Northwest.

Yesterday evening, the JBLM Rainier Rocks Chapter at Joint Base Lewis-McChord had the esteemed pleasure of hosting the 7th Infantry Division Commanding General, MG Schmidt for a Leadership Professional Development presentation on “Leadership Responsibilities as we transition from CT to LSCO” at the Lewis Army Museum. The LPD was nothing short of amazing and drew in a large attendance both in person and virtually. JBLM Rainier ROCKS continues to thrive as a growing Chapter in the Pacific Northwest.
