Every Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM), the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) hosts Twitter Chat Tuesday as part of our annual Week of Action. This year’s Twitter Chat Tuesday will draw upon the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence (NRCDV)'s "No Survivor Justice Without Racial Justice" theme. We will discuss how essential anti-racism work is to our movements to end violence of all kinds, including domestic violence. Please join us on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 3:00 PM ET!

How it works: (English) and (Spanish) will tweet the below questions at the indicated times during the Twitter Chat on 10/18. The Samuel P. Massie Academy and Andrew Jackson Academy (The Academies) will be hosting a Community Day on Sat, Oct 15th from 11am -2pm, The event will be held in the parking lot at SPMA. Our theme is "Coming Together to Make Our Community Better." Our goal is to make our community better by building relationships, providing information/services and promoting our local small businesses. Let's merge to build our students, make stronger families and lift our community. We need each other!
We have over 35+ vendors and counting! There will be Live band and group performances, DJ, free hot dogs, sodas, water and give-aways! It's all happening in the SPMA parking lot!

We are seeking volunteers, 21 years of age and older to become facilitators for our grief support program for children and families. Volunteers are asked to complete 24 hours of training before they are officially considered a volunteer and commit to 40 hours of volunteer service within the year.
