Dear DMCS Parents and Guardians,
We want to make volunteering as accessible to parents and guardians as possible. Here is what you need to know and do to help the school out as a volunteer:
Who Must Complete the Training
Adult volunteers over 18 who interact with students outside the immediate supervision and control of a parent, guardian, or school employee:
Field trip chaperones, classroom volunteers, athletic or activity volunteers, club volunteers, and volunteers supporting school-sponsored programs or events.
What You Need to Do
Mandated Reporter Training
Due to the sensitive nature of the content, including discussions related to child abuse, neglect, and professional boundaries, it is recommended that the training be completed without children present in the room.

Complete all 3 videos in a single sitting. Estimated completion time: 60 minutes.
*A Certificate of Completion will be sent to your email. Download or save your certificate or proof of completion. Submit the certificate to [email protected] or drop it off in the front office. Include your full name, volunteer role, and completion date.
*Live Scan Background Check
Dixon Montessori has invited Anglemans Inc to our Open House this Thursday from 5:30PM-6:30PM. Dixon Montessori will pay for coaches to be live scanned, all other volunteers will need to pay to be livescaned.
*TB Clearance. Proof of clearance needs to be submitted to [email protected] or dropped off in the front office.
