Thank you to everyone who participated in the cookie dough and popcorn fundraiser or made a donation via Zeffy! The money that is raised allows kindergarten through 5th grade students and 8th grade students to attend one field trip free of charge. It also reduced the rate for the 6th &7th grade field trip by at least half. We are able to give each teacher funds at the beginning of the school year for supplies for their classroom, provide dinner during fall conferences, and snacks and lunch during staff appreciation week in the spring. The money raised also helps pay to keep events like party at the playground and winter wonderland free. New this year we used some of the money to provide extra snacks for students who might have forgotten their snack that day. On average we need to raise $40,000 to cover all of these things.
