Lee County Animal Control, DIXON, IL Rabies Vaccination and County Tags for Dogs in Lee County, along with Public Safety from aggressive and dangerous Dogs are Animal Controls primary priority.

All Dogs 4 months or older must be vaccinated against Rabies. Animal bite reporting and Investigation of Animal cruelty, neglect or Inhumane treatment of Animals are also high priority for us. Please report any animal bite, sick or injured stray animals and any suspected mis-treatment of Animals.

!!ATTENTION!! We are asking for your help!!! Please share our plea and help us find places for some of our longest residences. Our kennel is full and then some. We are looking for any shelters or rescues that would be willing to help take in some of these sweet boys and girls. We understand places are full and struggling as well but we hope we can reach a few places that are able to help. That is where you can help, a simple share is all we are asking. We are a small facility with an even smaller staff. We would like to see some of these puppers go to a place where they have the best possible chance to be adopted.
Unfortunately, we are not able to foster dogs out, but most shelters do have that ability. With only 3 staff, training and necessary work on basics cannot be accomplished. A place where these dogs can get the attention that will help them thrive and even possibly get into a foster home would mean so much to us and them. Even just one or two shelters/rescues that would be willing to help would do so much for these sweet pups. Please share, like comment or if you have ideas of places that could help us tag them for us. Anything to help this post get the traction it needs. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
