Huge honor for two of our own 👏

Congratulations to Max Graef and Jordin Callen on being named recipients of the A. Dale Lackey Award and Scholarship! This prestigious recognition is awarded to some of the top student-athletes in the entire section, highlighting excellence in academics, athletics, and community impact.

Both Max and Jordin were selected to represent the Golden Empire League—an incredible achievement considering only 50 students are chosen from over 200 schools and thousands of athletes. The last time Dixon had a representative was 2021, last time Dixon had both the male and female reps from the GEL was 2016.

With 4.0+ GPAs, standout performances in their sports, and a strong commitment to giving back to the community, these two truly embody what it means to be a student-athlete.

A quick reminder that National Bike and Roll to School Day is happening this Wednesday, May 6.

We already have 32 schools across Solano County signed up, and we’re excited to see so many students getting ready to ride, walk, and roll to campus. 🚲

If your school is participating, don’t forget to set your helmet out tonight and plan your route. If you’re not officially signed up, you can still join in. Grab a friend and make it a bike and roll morning.

Let’s fill our school routes with wheels and smiles this Wednesday.
