As this primary campaign comes to a close today, I would first like to thank God for giving me the opportunity to run for the position of Jailer for Webster County.

I also want to thank my wife Holly, my family, my friends, and everyone in between. I sincerely appreciate every person who has supported me, encouraged me, prayed for me, and taken the time to speak kind words during this campaign.

After today, one person will move on and several will not. I pray everyone stays positive and humbled through it all. I truly believe everything happens the way it’s supposed to, whether we always understand the outcome or not.

I hope I’ve earned your vote for the next Jailer of Webster County, not just because of the last few months of campaigning, but because of what you’ve seen from me over the years. I hope you’ve seen my heart, my compassion, my dedication, and my professionalism.

I’m not perfect, and I’ve made mistakes. I don’t like making promises, but one thing I can promise if elected is, I will LEAD with VALUES and SERVE with a PURPOSE.

And I will never use the word INTEGRITY lightly. I will do the right thing even when nobody is watching.

I definitely couldn't have done any of this without my daughter below. She is my biggest fan and my biggest supporter in everything I do.❤️

Hope everyone has the opportunity to get out and VOTE today! Vote STINCHCOMB #2 on the ballot Nathan Stinchcomb for Webster County Jailer

When it comes to training for jail personnel, regulations require a minimum of 24 hours annually, while law enforcement officers are required to complete 40 hours. Many agencies go above and beyond those minimums and that’s something I strongly believe in.

I feel when it comes to training, you can’t have enough.

A deputy shared something with me recently that really stuck. In law enforcement, we often have the first interaction with an individual. We may transport them to the detention center, complete paperwork, and then only see them again in controlled environments like court.

But our deputy jailers and detention staff are with these individuals day in and day out, shift after shift.
Because of that, I don’t believe 24 hours of annual training is nearly enough.

Not only do they need more training, they need quality, hands-on training that prepares them for real situations. If elected, I want to start with the basics: defensive tactics and de-escalation. These are critical skills that help keep both staff and inmates safe.

From there, I will work with Fiscal Court to ensure our jail staff are set up for success, equipped with the proper tools and resources they need to safely and effectively perform their duties every day.

Vote Nathan Stinchcomb for Webster County Jailer on May 19th!

🔷️What I stand for as your next Elected Jailer🔷️

✔️Safety first and proper training:
My top priority will always be the safety of our staff, inmates, and the community. That means proper training, accountability, and a professional environment built on respect. Working with other agencies to bring necessary training to our deputies that will keep them and inmates safe as well.

✔️Rehabilitation and responsibility:
I believe in giving individuals the tools to turn their lives around through education, job training, and access to community programs/partnerships that prepare them for success after release. Giving inmates a purpose will help reduce recidivism!

✔️Efficiency and transparency:
Taxpayers deserve to know their resources are being used wisely. I’ll work to modernize operations, improve communication, and ensure our jail runs responsibly and effectively. I will utilize Federal and State grants to ease financial burden and work to implement self-sufficient practices within the Detention Center.

✔️Community connection:
The jail shouldn’t be a forgotten part of the county. It’s part of our public safety system. I’ll strengthen partnerships with law enforcement, local organizations, and families to make a positive difference.

I kindly ask for your vote and support on May 19th!!
