🏆🎉 COLOR WARS 2026 IS A WRAP! 🎉🏆

What an AMAZING week of competition, teamwork, spirit, and fun! ❤️💛💚💙

A huge thank you to Jimmy’s Soft Serve for joining us today and helping us celebrate the end of an incredible Color Wars Week with a sweet treat! 🍦

After a week of games, challenges, cheers, and LOTS of team spirit, we are excited to announce that this year’s COLOR WARS CHAMPIONS are… 1ST GRADE! 🏆🥇🎉

Every grade did a fantastic job with their cheers today and showed so much enthusiasm and spirit throughout the day! We also have to give a special shoutout to our 4th graders, who showed incredible sportsmanship by cheering on each grade as they gathered in the circle to perform their cheer. 👏❤️

We are so proud of ALL of our campers for the teamwork, sportsmanship, and camp spirit they showed all week long.

Congratulations to 1st Grade and to every camper who made Color Wars 2026 such a great week! 🏆

🏆 Color Wars Update! 🏆

The competition is heating up at Dobbs Ferry Day Camp Color Wars! 🌈💥

Today’s events had campers hopping their way through exciting Potato Sack Races 🥔 and showing off their teamwork and determination in Keep It Up! 🎈 Every point counted, and every grade gave it their all!

Current Standings:
🥇 1st Grade – 3,661 points
🥈 Kindergarten – 3,305 points
🥉 4th Grade – 2,997 points
4️⃣ 2nd Grade – 2,256 points
5️⃣ 3rd Grade – 2,127 points

With one more day of competition left, anything can happen! The races are still close, and every game is another chance to climb the leaderboard. Good luck to all of our campers as they battle it out for the 2026 Color Wars Championship! 💪🎉

Unfortunately, due to the forecasted weather, Friday Night River Jam scheduled for Friday, August 7, has been canceled.

The good news is we won’t have to wait long! Join us instead on Sunday, August 9, from 6:00–8:00 PM for an evening of great live music on the waterfront featuring Dan Zlotnick.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and look forward to seeing you on Sunday for a beautiful night by the river!

Our campers showed off their grade pride today by dressing in their grade colors for Spirit Day! The excitement kicked off with an epic, whole-camp game of Sharks and Minnows before each grade battled it out in a game of Keep It Up.

After another great day of friendly competition, 3rd Grade is still holding onto the lead! 🏆 But with plenty of games and challenges still ahead, there’s still time for every grade to make a comeback.

🌧️ Rain? No problem! The weather may have kept us indoors, but it couldn’t stop the fun at Dobbs Ferry Day Camp!

Yesterday we kicked off our highly anticipated Color Wars Week, and our campers were ready to compete! Teams put their creativity and teamwork to the test by constructing buildings using nothing but index cards before facing off in exciting rounds of musical chairs against the other grades.

After Day 1, 3rd Grade has taken the early lead! 🏆 But the week is still young, and there’s plenty of time for the other grades to rally and claim the Color Wars title.

We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week has in store! 💜💛💙❤️💚
