Unfortunately due to inclement weather, our courts in Surry County will be postponed tomorrow, February 2, 2026.

The Clerk of Superior Court's office will be closed as well.

The Clerk of Superior Court's office will be open tomorrow from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, with possible closing changes contingent upon the arrival time of forecasted inclement weather. Please call 336-386-3700 if we can be of assistance.

The safety of our staff and the public we serve is paramount. Unfortunately, yet again, as a result of the frigid temperatures and remaining ice, road conditions and grounds are not safe yet. Due to these conditions, District and Superior Courts for Surry County will be closed Thursday, January 29, 2026. The Clerk of Superior Court's office will be closed tomorrow as well.
