Rewinding the tape to the late '70s/early '80s, when Dodge City Community College had its very own radio station! Here's a student behind the mic, headphones on, cueing up the next track on those classic reel-to-reel and cartridge machines. 📻

Fun fact: this studio was located in what is now the library director's office, a little piece of DCCC history hiding in plain sight!

🏈 Throwback Thursday 🏈

Straight from the archives — a 1942 football program from Dodge City Junior College's matchup against Pratt Junior College! Coached by Jasper French and Ralph Huffman, with broadcast commentary by Dr. Al M. Bissing, sponsored by Harry Hart Oil Company.

Local merchants lined the back pages supporting the team, a tradition of community backing that still holds true today. 🏆
