WELCOME BACK, DODGERS!

The wait is almost over, we can’t wait to welcome our students back to school!

📚 Grades 1–12: First day of school is Tuesday, September 1st!

✏️ Kindergarten: First day of school is Wednesday, September 2nd!

🧡 4K/ELP: Students will have an all-day Camp Day on Wednesday, September 2nd. Please note that this is a camp day only. There will be no 4K/ELP September 3rd–8th.

🎒 The official first day of school for 4K/ELP will be Wednesday, September 9th!

To all of our students, families, teachers, and staff,welcome back! We’re excited to see our schools filled with students again. 🧡🖤

🏫 Join us for our Back to School Open House!

The Dodgeville School District is excited to welcome students and families back for our District-Wide Open House on Wednesday, August 26 from 3:00-6:30pm at each building!

Stop in anytime during the Open House to meet teachers and staff, visit classrooms, find your way around the building, and get ready for a great school year!

We can't wait to see our Dodgers back in the buildings!

The results of the Dodgeville School District’s recent community survey have been presented. 874 people responded, representing an excellent 21.3% response rate.

The survey showed that there is not enough support to pass a $2.5 million referendum in November (47% supported with a 3.38% margin or error). The top reason given by those who previously voted “no” was that the tax impact was too high.

Based on the survey results and community feedback, the School Board voted Monday night to place a $1.9 million per year operational referendum for three years on the November 3 ballot.

This is lower than what the District has identified as needed, but these funds will help us continue operating and providing a great education for our students.

📣 Community Survey Results – Monday, August 17

What did our community have to say?

Join us at the Dodgeville School District Board of Education meeting on Monday, August 17, at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium to hear the results of the recent community survey conducted by School Perceptions regarding the operational referendum in November 2026.

School Perceptions will present the survey findings and community feedback, which will help inform the Board’s discussion and next steps.

Interested in learning what trapshooting is all about? The Dodgeville Trap Team is hosting a FREE Try Trapshooting Day for anyone interested in giving the sport a shot!

No experience, equipment, registration, or commitment required! Stop out to meet the coaches and athletes, learn about the team, and break a few clays.
