A huge thank you to the RideSafe Foundation and the Wisconsin ATV/UTV Association, Inc. on teaming up with Iowa County Emergency Management and the area school districts to bring this very important safety message! This event was a years worth of planning by RideSafe. They brought professionals from all over the country and beyond. It blew me away at how many of our youth are riding these machines without the proper safety equipment.

Happy National Nurses Week! 💙 We recognize the incredible nurses of our Iowa County Health Department. Iowa County residents are fortunate to have this team working behind the scenes to support our community.

The title “public health nurse” doesn’t begin to capture the scope of what they do. They are educators, advocates, home visitors, consultants, case managers, grant coordinators, clinical care providers, certified environmental laboratory analysts, data analysts, health communicators, strategists, partners, and so much more—working every day to protect and support the health of all of Iowa County.
