📣 ATTENTION! REMINDER! 📣

Summer School students will be attending until 2:30 PM this week and next week (June 15–25, will still follow the schedule of Thursday field trips) due to our special visitors from the Happiness Initiative Summer Camp 2026 program!

Our guests have traveled from across the country and internationally to provide exciting enrichment activities including:
✏️ Creative Writing
💬 Social-Emotional Learning
🇪🇸 Spanish Language
🔬 Mad Science
🏀 Sports & Recreation

This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn new skills, make connections, and have fun while preparing for the upcoming school year.

Please plan for student pickup and bus departure at 2:30 PM during these dates.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to a great two weeks of learning and fun!

🎬🍿 Drive-In Movie Day at Summer School! 🍿🎬

Today was the big finale to our Drive-In Movie Week! Throughout the week, students worked hard designing, decorating, and building their own cardboard cars. They showed off their creativity by adding unique details, colors, and personal touches to make each vehicle one of a kind.

Once their cars were complete, students parked them in our “drive-in theater” and enjoyed watching GOAT while munching on popcorn and snacks.

It was a wonderful way to celebrate a week of hard work, creativity, and teamwork. We are so proud of the imagination and effort our students put into their projects!

📢 Summer School Field Trip Reminder – Thursday, June 11th 🚌

Reminder: All students who attended Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Summer School this week are eligible to attend our field trip to the Fort Peck Interpretive Center tomorrow, Thursday, June 11th!

Field Trip Schedule:
🍳 8:00 AM – Breakfast at school
🚌 8:30 AM – Load the bus and depart for Fort Peck
🔎10:30 AM–12:00 PM – Explore the Fort Peck Interpretive Center
🍕 12:30 PM – Lunch at Pizza Hut in Glasgow
🚌 1:00 PM – Depart for home
🏫 3:00 PM – Arrive back at school

Please remember to:
✔️ Wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes
✔️ Bring a light jacket or sweatshirt if needed
✔️ Arrive at school on time so we can leave promptly at 8:30 AM

We are looking forward to a fun and educational day exploring one of Montana’s most exciting attractions. See you Thursday!

🌞 Summer School Field Trip Reminder! 🌞

This Thursday, students who attended all three days of Summer School this week will head to Bowdoin National Wildlife Refuge and Sleeping Buffalo for a day of exploration, learning, and fun!

Parents and guardians, please help your child come prepared by sending:
✅ Swimwear and a towel for swimming activities
✅ A change of clothes
✅ Weather-appropriate clothing/jackets/shoes

Please label your child's belongings, if possible, and make sure they arrive at school on time.

We are excited to reward our students for their attendance and give them an opportunity to learn outside the classroom while enjoying some summer fun!

📚☀️ Summer School starts Monday, June 1st for Dodson students!

Classes will run Monday–Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Fun and educational field trips are planned for Thursdays for students who attend class throughout the week.

Summer is here and we're celebrating!
