May Day 2026 is in the books. We had a soggy start, but thank Him for the rain we so desperately needed. The afternoon turned to a beautiful day. We are so thankful to the vendors that braved the weather. BBQ teams hung in there and smoked up some great competition. Thank you To the Upper Room dancers and Christina Pritchett for sharing your talents. WE4 and Naturally Southern put on a great show!

We greatly appreciate our door prize donors-Piggly Wiggly of Moultrie, The Burlap Basket Monogramming & Gifts, City Electric, The Pink Pearl, Paradise Pool & Patio, Colquitt EMC for fans(we are saving for next year🙃), Dragonfly Dreams, Moultrie Cinema, Naturally Cool Gems, and a couple anonymous donors. If I missed anyone, please forgive me.

May Day takes a lot of work behind the scenes. They are all volunteers and most have full-time jobs. Julie Baker Gay, Mike Blair, Connie Strickland McCoy, Sabrina Houman, Armogene Natson, Tori Reynolds Kitchens, Anthony Michniak, Amanda Kifer Everett, Sharon Walters, and Zay Howard give their time and effort to make it happen.

We can’t forget The City of Doerun for making sure the park is ready for our visitors. Thank you to Doerun Police Department and Colquitt County Sheriff Department for keeping us safe.

Next up will be our Fall Fest in October, so stay tuned!!
