The Dolores Mountain Quilters biennial quilt show was a huge success!

Congratulations to Vernell Andrews of Farmington, NM - the raffle quilt winner AND a member of the San Juan Quilt Guild.

Plus a huge thank you to the kids and parents from Montezuma Martial Academy who helped with set up and tear down!

The show included:

🪡 141 entries
🧵 58 quilters
🤝 60+ volunteers
👥 650 attendees

🏆 First place winners voted by people's choice:

Bed - Large = Linda Jahraus
Bed - Medium = Diane Weitzenkamp
Bed - Small = LouAnn Burkett
Wall - Large = Jan Shepard
Wall - Medium = Margien Gram

Dolores Mountain Quilters guild makes over $4000 in cash donations annually to several local non-profit organizations. In 2025 over 80 quilts were donated to needy persons and fundraising efforts for local non-profits as well as donating 83 hand-made and filled Christmas stockings to the Montezuma County Foster Care program.

Interested in joining? Monthly meetings are held at the Dolores Community Center at 10:00 a.m. on the first Tuesday of each month. More information about the group is available at doloresmountainquilters.org
