Our ambulance crew saw this poor pup get hit by a car in Harvey near 159th & Gauger. They were able to get her out of the road to safety. She is injured, but Harvey PD and animal control responded very quickly and they are taking her for medical care. Please contact Harvey PD if this is your dog!

Today ends National Public Safety Telecommunicator week and we want to thank our 911 dispatchers for the amazing work they do every day! The world lost a great man today. James JP Muirhead dedicated his life to the fire service and to his family. Kate lost a husband and Ev and Wally lost their daddy. Kate has been part of the Bud’s family for years and we will do all that we can to support them through this unimaginable hard time. We love you, Kate. We are all here for you ❤️

The family has asked for privacy at this time, so for those that have been asking how they can help - a great organization has set up a fundraiser for Kate and the kids. We all know it takes a village, time for the village to take over.

At The Yard Foundation, we come together as a community to remember and honor Chief JP Muirhead, a dedicated leader, and retired firefighter. This week, we bid farewell to a hero who served not only as the active chief of the Crete Fire Department but also as a retired firefighter from Riverdale. JP

Anyone in the Glenwood, Thornton, Lansing, South Holland area missing this fun little guy?? He was found sprinting full speed on 394 SB right by Thornton-Lansing Rd. He is a good boy, listens to commands and is well cared for so he definitely has an owner that is missing him! He has a collar and green rope-leash attached to it. No tags and not chipped. Anyone who

Anyone know this handsome dog? He came up to our ambulance at 159th & Loomis in Harvey, IL. He is a very good boy and seems very smart so we know his owner is missing him! We are taking him over to the Harvey Police Dept. Please share this post and help find his owners!

Great job to our Bud’s Crew (Paramedic John Charles and EMT-B DJ Fuller) and the Lynwood Fire Department on a 911 call. They provided excellent care and quick turn around time.

So proud of Tiersa Shearrill for passing the NREMT Paramedic test!! Tiersa started at Bud’s in 2015 as a medicar driver, became an EMT-B through our class at Bud’s, trained in dispatch and call taking, and now she is offically a Paramedic!
