Yesterday, the results were not what we hoped for, but we gave this race everything we had, and I am incredibly proud of the campaign we ran together. The race was close, and I want to congratulate Commissioner McCaskill on her victory.

Now, as a community, we must come together and support the work ahead to rebuild, strengthen, and grow the 5th District. Our residents deserve unity, progress, and leadership that keeps the needs of the people first.

I want to sincerely thank my family, my team, my supporters, and every person who believed in this campaign and cast a vote for me. Your encouragement, prayers, and hard work mean more than I can put into words, and I am forever grateful.

While yesterday’s outcome was not what we hoped for, our mission does not end here. The fight for our communities, our families, and a better future is bigger than any one election. I remain committed to serving, to advocating, and to continuing the work that brought us together in the first place.

This is not the end of the journey it is simply the next chapter.
