Get ready for an exciting summer at the Donna Public Library!
Our Summer Reading Program will run from June 9 through July 31, 2026.

Summer Reading Kickoff on June 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM, featuring a special live presentation by Animal Contact LLC.

In partnership with Donna Independent School District, free breakfast will be provided from 9:00 AM–9:30 AM and free lunch from 12:00 PM–1:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, beginning May 26 and continuing through July 2, 2026.

We encourage families to register early by calling or visiting the library, as space is limited. We look forward to spending an unforgettable summer learning, reading, and exploring together!

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension recently concluded a successful 4-week nutrition program at the library. We extend our sincere appreciation to their team for providing valuable educational sessions focused on healthy living and nutrition.

We would also like to thank all participants who attended the classes and contributed to the success of the program through their engagement and participation.
