The purposes of the Donna Economic Development Corporation ("4A") and the Development Corporation of Donna (“4B”) are to pursue all avenues of growth for new and existing businesses, and to maximize employment opportunities, tax base, and quality of life in the City. Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and serves as a time to reflect on freedom and progress. We encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the significance moment in our nation's history.

The Donna EDC Executive Director was invited to attend a MOU signing between the Rio South Texas Region and leaders from the Automotive Cluster of San Luis Potosí. This MOU represents and positions the RGV by strengthening collaboration and fostering new opportunities for economic development, trade, and investment across our regions.🤝📄🖋️

In addition to the signing ceremony, attendees heard presentations from various organizations highlighting industry trends, workforce development initiatives, and opportunities for cross-border partnerships.

Events like these reinforce the importance of regional collaboration as we continue positioning Donna and the Rio South Texas Region as key players in international commerce and economic growth. 🫶
