Donnellson Police Department- Iowa

The Donnellson Police Department and Lee County Sheriffs Office received several reports regarding individuals in the Donnellson area in a white Toyota Corolla.

Law Enforcement has made contact with them in Franklin, and they are not a threat to the community. They are only distributing political information.

The Donnellson Police Department had a great time participating in the Central Lee School’s Annual Trunk or Treat.

We enjoyed seeing so many Central Lee students and families come out for an evening of costumes, candy, and Halloween fun. There were plenty of creative costumes, lots of smiles, and maybe just a little too much candy!

Being part of events at our local schools gives us a chance to interact with kids in a fun and positive setting and helps build relationships that go well beyond a uniform and patrol car.

Thank you to Central Lee for inviting us to be part of this year’s event and to everyone who came by the Donnellson Police Department car!

Big thank you to the Lee County Crime Stoppers and everyone involved in organizing this event!

🇺🇸 9/11: 25 Years Later — A Night of Remembrance, Service & Unity 🇺🇸

On Friday, September 11, Central Lee invites our entire community to join us for a very special evening as the Central Lee Hawks take on the Fort Madison Bloodhounds in our home football game.

Before kickoff, we will pause to remember those who were lost, honor those who serve, and recognize the courage, compassion, and unity that followed September 11, 2001.

🚒 Local first responders, firefighters, EMS, law enforcement, veterans, active-duty military members, and community servants are especially invited to attend and be recognized.

❤️ Honorees receive FREE admission.
🚨 Emergency response agencies are invited to bring emergency vehicles for a special display of lights.
🇺🇸 Fans are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue or uniforms.
🏈 Those participating in the recognition should arrive by 6:45 p.m.
📞 Please RSVP to the Central Lee High School office at 319-835-9510.

Twenty-five years later, many of our students know September 11 only through history. This evening is an opportunity to help the next generation understand why we remember while also honoring the people in our own communities who continue to serve others every day.

Come cheer on the Hawks vs. Bloodhounds and join us for an evening that is about much more than football. ❤️🤍💙

We Remember. We Serve. We Stand Together.

Please share and help us invite our local heroes and community to join us!
