I was at Cougar Dave’s selling when I saw the wind pick up. I quickly ran to the library knowing we have horrible luck with tents. We lost 2 tents and many of our raffle items. 3 boys I don’t know helped us and I sent out an SOS text and our Friends President Mikayla quickly arrived as well as Miss Chas. We weren’t able to salvage everything, but we worked hard. This morning we have some major cleanup if you would like to show up around 9. Also, Please come and donate to the Friends of The Library. Buy a raffle ticket! 🎟️ There were 5 vendors who also lost their tents and had damage last night, please come down and support them. Let’s make this Huckleberry Sunday the best we’ve had. I am pleading for those big donations today. We will see you for breakfast at 8:30 and Library at 9. Also thanks Eliza for our weekend quote EVERYTHING is Joy!!!!

Special thank you to everyone who came out tonight and celebrated our porch. We celebrated a new accessible entrance to the Library. 📚 Our Trustee Sarah Porter cut the ribbon and then we celebrated with and the kids sang some 🎤 Our porch renovations are covered by a grant from American Library Association 💜LTCGrant Thank you ALA - ARSL and the LTC Committee for choosing our Library.

It’s here!!!! Our busiest weekend of the year. First things first- We have a new porch! We have a grant from American Library Association to make our Library more accessible. We are celebrating our new porch on Friday night. Ribbon Cutting at 6:00 💜 🌭 some that’s right bring your instruments 🎸 🪕 Saturday well… it’s the BIGGEST event of the year here in Donnelly. 💜 Get your running shoes 👟 on. Sunday is This event has been helping our community preserve our history for over 100 years. Come join us Sunday 1-3 at the Barn at Roseberry.

The Heart 💜 has arrived!! This heart has become an important part of Hück Trot. This heart is created as part of the annual fundraising efforts of the Payette Land Trust 💜 The runs the water station at Roseberry and makes sure everyone is hydrated and circles the heart 💜 to round the 1/2 way point for the Friends Donnelly Library 5K race this weekend. The heart has arrived. You can now come see it and check out and register for 💜 Please join us for our on Friday at 6 to see the heart before we move it to Roseberry for the big race.
