The Donora Fire Company stands with the Finleyville Volunteer Fire Department during this difficult time. Yesterday they responded to a call that no firefighter, EMS provider, police officer, or first responder ever wants to hear or answer.

To every member of the department — please know you are not alone. These calls stay with us long after the sirens stop. If you need to talk, vent, cry, or simply sit with someone who understands, please reach out. We have all faced difficult moments in this line of service, and leaning on one another is what makes the fire service family so strong.

Keep your heads up and take care of each other. Our thoughts and prayers are with all involved.

Today was a proud and meaningful day for the Donora Fire Company as we presented our annual scholarship awards to two truly deserving young individuals.

Congratulations to Leah Pounds, daughter of Thomas Fronzaglio, and Logan Willis, firefighter with the Donora Fire Company, on receiving this year’s scholarships. Both Leah and Logan have shown outstanding dedication not only in academics, but also through their commitment to serving their community and helping others.

Watching these young adults grow, work hard, and achieve their goals is what this scholarship is all about. The future is bright because of individuals like them who lead with determination, compassion, and pride in their community.

We are incredibly proud of both of you and honored to be a small part of your journey. Congratulations graduates — continue chasing your dreams and making Donora proud. 🚒🎓❤️

🚨 Great Work by Our Members Today! 🚨

Two members of the Donora Fire Company attended the Ringgold High School Career & Job Fair today at the main campus, representing our department and connecting with students about the fire service.

While taking a quick lunch break, they were dispatched to assist EMS with an emergency extrication and to help establish a landing zone.

Talk about answering the call—no matter the time or place.

Outstanding job by everyone involved!
