Alpine Fresh Alpine Fresh Alpine was founded in January of 1988 by two long time friends, Jose Sanchez and Walter Yager.

Their vision was to bridge the gap between the growers of fresh fruits and vegetables in Latin America and the consumers in the United States. The company has grown from two people, one pallet jack, a 250 square foot office, to a 50,000 square foot corporate head quarters in Miami, Florida, with over 4,000 employees worldwide. Alpine has operations in six different countries and sales on five diff

erent continents. Alpine Fresh has been a grower packer and shipper of fresh fruits and vegetables for 25 years. We have dedicated ourselves to providing the highest quality produce on a year round basis. In order to accomplish this we farm in central and South America so as to compliment the USA productions cycles. Our farms are as far south as the southern volcanic regions of Chile to as far north as Canada. We are in ten countries with the idea of farming in the best locations in order to bring the best fruit to market. Food safety and social responsibility are an integral part of Alpine Fresh. We have dedicated staff whose sole responsibility is to continually harness new and innovative approaches to produce the highest quality product, in the safest environment possible. As a company, we are continuously reexamining ways to make our products as safe as possible while adhering to a strict code of social accountability. We hold all our farms to the strongest and highest standards, and well exceed any minimum government requirements. We don’t do this because we have to; we do this because it is the right thing to do.
