Do you remember the Scholastic Book Fair?! Of course you do - it was one of the best days of the school year. Now you can help recreate that same feeling for today’s Mather Students.

Help us put books into the hands of every child at the Mather!

By donating to the Mather School Scholastic Book Fair Fund, you are helping ensure that every student, regardless of financial circumstances, has the opportunity to choose and take home a book they are excited to read. (Maybe a pencil or kitten poster, too. ). A single book can spark imagination, build confidence, and inspire a lifelong love of learning.

During Teacher Appreciation Week, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the incredible teachers and staff at the Mather Elementary School. Your dedication, patience, kindness, and hard work make a lasting difference in the lives of our students every single day.

Today we celebrate our African American Heritage Assembly.

Students have been working so hard with their teachers for today’s performance. The Mather assemblies are always filled with pride, spirit and enthusiasm like no other.

Hey Mather Families

The YMCA Mobile Market will park at our school every 3rd Friday of the Month from 1:30-3:30. Friday, October 17th, is our launch day. We will have canvas bags for families, but I encourage you to bring shopping bags that make it easy to carry your items. October 2 is National Custodian Appreciation Day.

Today we celebrate the Mather’s own Custodian Team: Kathleen, Exai, & Dielana.

Thank you for keeping our school safe, healthy, and ready to learn. There is so much that we see you guys do day after day - and even more that we don’t see. From cleaning spills, shoveling snow before the students arrive, fixing everything - you are the ones who help the teachers’ day run smoothly.
