Tonight members from Dorset, East Dorset, Manchester, and Pawlet Fire, along with Northshire EMS responded to a chimney fire on Dorset West Road. The fire was contained to the chimney all units back in service by 21:45 pm.

There's currently a burn ban in Dorset until further notice.

Last night members from Dorset and East Dorset responded to Route 30 for a malfunctioning pellet stove the fire was contained to the stove. As spring gets here we want to remind everyone to clean their stoves and chimneys! Keep safe this Spring!

Tonight members from Dorset, East Dorset, Manchester, Rupert, Pawlet Fire worked a propane leak where a tree snapped off the pressure relief valve. Also thanks to Washington county dispatch for getting us the resources we needed. We had a second call that Pawlet and Manchester handled a co alarm. West Pawlet stood by in our station.
We had to burn off the tank before a new pressure relief valve could be installed.

Today Dorset and East Dorset Fire responded to a grass and brush fire off Dorset West Road it is very dry on the grass now use caution with outside burning!
