Another R**e Aggression Defense class ready for sign-ups. If you want to develop your self-defense skills for women, this is the class for you. Taught by law enforcement trainers skilled in self-defense, RAD gives a practical response to confrontations. Email the address on the flyer to register.

RAD ladies self defense classes are hosted here at the WPSC. Dothan Police Department Instructors teach this course. This past class was the largest class to ever be held here. 26 participants showed up and participated! Special Thank You to Auburn University Public Safety Lieutenant Keith Walton for coming to help assist with this class.

Calling All Wiregrass Volunteer Firefighters!

Get ready for an exciting behind-the-scenes look at one of the region’s premier public safety training facilities!

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Alabama RC&D for the Wiregrass Region, Volunteer Fire Departments from across the Wiregrass are invited to join us for a fun and informative day at the Wiregrass Public Safety Center.

Choose the session that works best for you:

Morning Session: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Afternoon Session: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

FREE catered lunch will be served from Noon to 1:00 p.m. for all attendees.

During each session, participants will:
- Tour the Wiregrass Public Safety Center
- See live demonstrations of the facility’s training capabilities
- Explore specialized training props and equipment
- Learn about training opportunities available to your department
- Connect with firefighters and public safety professionals from across the region

Whether you've never visited the campus or want to see what's new, this is a great opportunity to experience firsthand the resources available to help your department train, prepare, and succeed.
