Houston County Schools is excited to host our Houston County Career Connections Day at Wiregrass Church on November 10th, and we want YOU to be part of it!

Big congratulations to Zack Yusuf from our HCCA Information Technology program for officially earning his Drone Pilot Certification!

Zack is turning what he’s learning at HCCA into a real world credential that can open doors in industries like technology, photography, construction, public safety, mapping, and more.

Way to go, Zack! We are so proud of you!

It was a fun and busy Friday at HCCA! Our JROTC students got moving with morning exercises, IT students explored vintage gaming consoles in the lab, and Marketing students designed their own businesses while practicing their media skills.

Students from IT, Automotive, Building Construction, and Cosmetology also came together for a SkillsUSA meeting.

It’s always a great day at HCCA!🦅❤️💙

🚀 Week 1 has been a BLAST in Engineering!

Our students jumped right into the action with their first Instant Challenge, and they absolutely exceeded expectations! 👏

With popsicle sticks, rubber bands, a whole lot of tape, and even MORE creativity, our POE students created egg-cellent grabbers for “Fran’s Farm,” while our IED students took their launchers to whole new heights! 🥚🚀

Behind all of that creativity and innovation is our incredible instructor, Mrs. Solomon! 💙 Welcome to HCCA!! She has already challenged our students to think outside the box, get creative, problem-solve, and have a little fun along the way!

It’s already shaping up to be an incredible year, and we can’t wait to watch these students SOAR in CTE! 🦅💙
