⚠️ ETHICS MATTER.

DCSD Board Director Clark Callahan voted YES to put another tax increase on the ballot.

District materials say the MLO includes:

$21.4 million for a 4% pay increase for teachers and staff
$13 million allocated to charter schools

Why does that matter?

Because Callahan’s wife works at a DCSD charter school as a learning specialist.

When an elected official votes on a measure that could directly benefit his own household, voters have every right to ask:

Should he have recused himself?

Public officials should avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest.

Douglas County voters deserve transparency.

💸 Apparently DCSD didn’t get the memo.

Douglas County has spent years telling people “Handouts Don’t Help.”

Meanwhile, DCSD is contemplating coming back to taxpayers for another $54 MILLION. Every year.

Families are stretched thin. Enrollment is steadily declining. And somehow the answer is still: give us more money.

The School Board votes tomorrow.

Maybe somebody should send them the sign. 😏

💸 MONEY IS TIGHT AT HOME.

Families have needs too.

Groceries. Housing. Insurance. Utilities. Gas. Kids’ activities. For a lot of Douglas County families, there isn’t much extra left at the end of the month.

DCSD knows that.

And they’re still contemplating asking families for another $54 MILLION. Every year.

That is tone-deaf.

The families being asked to pay this bill are already making hard choices at home. DCSD should be showing some consideration for them before reaching deeper into their wallets.

At some point, consideration has to work both ways.

On Tuesday, August 25, the Douglas County School Board will decide whether to move the proposed tax increase forward.

$54 million more. Every year. While families are already stretched thin.

🚨 $54 MILLION MORE. EVERY YEAR.

DCSD wants Douglas County taxpayers to hand over another $54 million annually.

Meanwhile, five DCSD teachers have been sentenced for sexual assault in the last year.

Parents are still raising serious concerns about boys in girls' sports, safety, transparency, academics, classroom materials and ideological distractions.

And DCSD’s answer is:

Give us more money.

No.

Accountability first.
Safety first.
Academics first.
Parents first.

DCSD has not earned another blank check from Douglas County families.

VOTE NO on the $54 MILLION MLO.

Trump Administration Signals Push to Exclude Transgender Athletes From 2031 Women's World Cup

The Trump administration is reportedly preparing to pressure FIFA to implement eligibility rules that would restrict the 2031 Women's World Cup to cisgender women, leveraging the fact that the tournament is expected to be hosted in the United States. While FIFA has not formally announced new transgender participation policies, the issue is poised to become a central point of negotiation in hosting discussions.

Supporters of the administration's position argue that biological s*x-based eligibility standards are necessary to preserve fair competition and protect the integrity of women's sports at the highest level. They contend that allowing transgender athletes to compete in women's events creates an uneven playing field and that hosting nations have both the right and responsibility to set eligibility criteria.

Critics, meanwhile, argue that such restrictions amount to discrimination and that scientific evidence on athletic advantage is more complex than categorical bans suggest. They point out that many international sports bodies have moved toward individualized assessments rather than blanket exclusions, and that politicizing athlete eligibility through diplomatic pressure undermines the autonomy of sports governance.

The stakes extend beyond athletics: how FIFA responds will signal whether international sports organizations can resist government pressure on transgender participation policies, or whether hosting considerations will reshape eligibility standards across major tournaments.

⚖️ COMMON SENSE WINS.

Today, the U.S. Supreme Court delivered a major victory for girls, fairness, and common sense by upholding laws that protect girls' sports.

Now it's time for Douglas County to act.

Superintendent Erin Kane and the Douglas County School District Board should stop allowing biological boys to compete in girls' sports and access girls' spaces. Every girl deserves a fair opportunity to compete, equal treatment under Title IX, and privacy in spaces designated for girls.

The Supreme Court has spoken. The legal landscape has changed.

DCSD should stand with girls, respect parents, and update its policies to protect fairness, safety, and equal opportunities for every female student.

It's time to put girls first.

🚨 BREAKING 🚨

Several baseball players recently refused to wear Pride-themed jerseys during a team Pride Night event, saying the message conflicted with their personal and religious beliefs.

The team ultimately forfeited the game.

Whether you agree with their decision or not, they were willing to accept criticism, backlash, and consequences rather than compromise their convictions.

Courage isn't doing what's easy. It's standing by your beliefs when there's a cost.

That's also why so many parents, students, and community members continue to speak out when biological males compete in girls' sports or enter girls' private spaces.

Not because it's easy.

But because they believe fairness, safety, and equal opportunities for girls are worth defending.

If nobody is willing to speak up, nothing changes.

🚨 School’s out in DCSD.

For the next 3 months, girls won’t be forced to share locker rooms or bathrooms with boys.

That should not be something students only get during summer break.

Girls deserve privacy.
Girls deserve protected spaces.
And parents deserve leaders willing to stand up for common sense.

🚨 Boy takes podium place at Colorado girls state championships.

Another child failed by the adults around him.

Reports indicate this child was raised “stealth,” taught to hide biological reality from the people around him while competing in girls sports.

That is not compassion.
That is not protection.

The girls who trained for years lose opportunities, placements, and recognition.
And this child loses the chance to grow up grounded in truth.

Parents are supposed to guide children through confusion, not reinforce it.

Colorado girls deserve fair sports.
