The Douglas Police Department invites you to participate in Project Blue Light this holiday season! Project Blue Light is a nationwide initiative during the holiday season where individuals and organizations display blue lights to honor and remember fallen law enforcement officers and show support of those currently serving.

How to participate: Pick up a blue bulb from the Police Department and display it in a window, on a porch, on a Christmas tree, or even as part of an outdoor decoration.
By displaying blue lights, participants send a dual message of supporting current officers and honoring the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. More information can be found on the Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) website!
