We are AGAIN starting to plan a Coffee High School Multi-Class Reunion for the Classes of 1983–1987 for Fall 2026 in Douglas, Georgia.

It is with great sadness that we report the death of retired teacher, photographer, and journalist Walter Jardine. Known to everyone simply as Jardine, he passed away Saturday after an extended illness. With his long hair, beard, and ever-present camera, Jardine was one of the most well-known, recognizable, and beloved citizens of Coffee County. Though he spent 32 years as an educator and coach in the Coffee County School System, most people know Jardine as a photographer. Over the course of his career, he literally took millions of pictures at tens of thousands, if not more, of sporting events throughout Georgia and Florida. He photographed everything from recreation league tournaments to NFL and MLB games. We will have more on Jardine and his legacy in the coming days. He made a lasting impact on the Douglas-Coffee County community in ways most people do not realize. We have lost a giant.

Please be in prayer for Wendy’s family and many loved ones. Wendy passed away after a battle with cancer. Wendy was a member of the Class of 1984.

Wendy Littleton Berryhill, 59 yr. old of Zirconia, NC, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, following complications from cancer. Wendy, the youngest of four daughters, was born in 1966 in Beaumont, TX to Patricia Hammond Littleton and William H. Littleton. She attended Richfield High School....
