Reminder!
Students at Eastside Elementary are invited to participate in our Storybook Pumpkin Decorating Contest!🎃
​If students would like to participate, they can.....
1. Think of a storybook or storybook character that they have read about.
2. At home, they can decorate a pumpkin based on the book or character. (Please do not carve pumpkins.)
3. Drop off your child's decorated pumpkin and the book or picture of the book cover that it is based on in the front office between 8:00am and 3:30pm Oct. 26-29. Please do not drop them off with your child at drop offs or send them on the bus.
4. Pumpkins and their books will be displayed in the Media Center where students can vote for their favorite pumpkin on Oct. 30!

Mrs. Brittany Purvis, a local community member, shared a book she's written called Finn Finds His Way. Since losing her dad several years ago and experiencing a myriad of emotions, she felt a nudge to write this book and share it with as many kids as possible. It's about discovering our self worth and true joy for living.
