👉 Sign-ups are required each week for meal pick-up.

Converse County School District #1 Nutrition Services is proud to offer the Summer Food Program to support families with children ages 2–18.

🗓 Program Dates: June 4 – July 30, 2026
🥗 What You Get: FREE bulk meal kits
✅ Weekly Registration Required (Deadline: every Wednesday for Thursday pick-up)

📍 Pick-Up Location: Douglas Rec Center (Nida baseball field parking lot)
⏰ Time: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM

Students must be enrolled by Friday, May 22nd @ 8:00 AM to meet their teacher for next year. If you have any questions, please call the DIS Office at 358-5250 or the DUES Office at 358-0025. Douglas Summer School Food Program Offers Free Meals for Children

Converse County School District, Nutrition Services Department will bring back the Summer School Food Program. This program is designed to support families with children between the ages of 2 -18, from June 1 to July 31, 2026
Every Thursday, families can pick up meal kits containing five days’ worth of nutritious food items at no cost. This initiative aims to ease the burden on families by providing convenient, healthy meals for children throughout the summer.

Program Details:

• Who: All children ages 2–18.
• When: Thursdays, June 4th– July 30, 2025, 12:30 pm-2:30pm
• What: Bulk meal kits for 5 days
• Cost: Free
• Where: Douglas Rec Center. 1703 Hamilton Street
