WOW, Douglas Tigers — you did it! 🎉🐯
The PTO is beyond amazed by all of your hard work during this year’s Walk-A-Thon fundraiser! Our original goal was to raise $22,000… but thanks to our incredible students, families, and community, we absolutely crushed it with a grand total of $26,422 raised!! 👏💙
Because you exceeded the goal, there will be a special surprise at lunch next week! Great job everyone — we are so proud of all your fundraising efforts and the huge energy and enthusiasm shown at the walk!
🏆 PRIMARY SCHOOL RESULTS
After weeks in third place, Mrs. Lancaster’s class made an incredible last-hour comeback to become the highest earning class with a total of $1,954! They earned the extra recess, freeze pop party, and Walk-A-Thon class trophy! 🏆🍧
Mrs. A’s class came in a very close second with $1,904 — only $50 behind first place!
A huge congratulations to Scarlet G. from Mrs. Lancaster’s class, who was the top individual earner at the Primary School, raising an amazing $1,144! Scarlet earned the ride to school with a police officer and the family fun prize pack! 🚔🎉
🏆 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL RESULTS
After holding the lead for several weeks, Mrs. Farland’s class finished strong as the highest earning class with an incredible $2,225 raised! They also earned the extra recess, freeze pop party, and Walk-A-Thon class trophy! 🍧🏆
The top individual earner for the Elementary School was Elaina L. from Mrs. Farland’s class, who raised an outstanding $1,600! Elaina earned the ride to school in a police car and the family fun prize pack! 🚓🎉
Again, the PTO would like to thank everyone for all of their hard work and support. Every dollar raised goes right back to our students through fun activities, field trips, field day, and so much more.
