Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to put your skills to work supporting our schools? The Daniel Boone Area School District is looking for a full-time, 12-month Payroll & Food Service Specialist to join our Business Office team!

This important role helps ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while also providing administrative and financial oversight of the District’s contracted food service program. If you have experience in payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, or a school business office and enjoy working with people, numbers, and details, we’d love to hear from you!

Every school day counts! Missing a day here and there may not seem like a big deal, but those absences can quickly add up—and have a real impact on a student’s learning.

As our graphic shows, missing just 2 days a month can mean missing 20 days of school in a year. At 4 days a month, that number doubles to 40 days.

Regular attendance helps students stay connected to their teachers, classmates, lessons, and school community. 💙

Do you have a passion for student and staff wellness, health, safety, and building strong community partnerships? We’re looking for someone who can help make a positive impact across the Daniel Boone Area School District!

This is a part-time contractual position (approximately 20 hours/week during normal school hours), funded through a Wellness Grant.

The Wellness Coordinator will help lead health and wellness initiatives, connect the district with community resources, support staff training, collect and evaluate data, and serve as a champion for the health and well-being of our students and staff. 💙

Our first home football game of the season is this Friday, and we’re ready to cheer on our Blazers! Before you head to the game, please take a moment to review these important reminders:

🎟️ Student Entry
• High School students must enter through the student entrance and must have their student ID.
• Middle School, Intermediate Center, and Primary Center students must be accompanied by an adult.
• All students 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

🚫 Event Policies
• No outside food or drinks
• No coolers, backpacks, bags, or sports equipment of any kind
• No signs, banners, noise makers, or speakers
• No re-entry once you leave the event
• No running, horseplay, or aggressive behavior
