S.H.A.R.E. HOUSE Share House Douglas is a non-profit organization providing crisis intervention and the continuum of care to address the causes and effects of family violence.

We were founded in 1990. It's a place for transitioning from violence and dependence,
into non-violence and self-sufficiency. S.H.A.R.E. House focuses on proving:

24-Hour Emergency Shelter
Domestic Violence Counseling
Emergency Food and Clothing
Case Management

A special thank you to Sgt. Dean for generously bringing Bodhi and continually supporting the work we do. Your dedication makes moments of healing, comfort, and connection possible. Bodhi is a dual-purpose service dog and peer support canine with multiple certifications. He is dedicated to his work and thrives in both service and volunteer settings. Bodhi regularly attends various events and environments to provide calming, grounding support to individuals in need. He works collaboratively alongside other dual-purpose service dogs and certified therapy dogs to promote emotional well-being and comfort for the communities he serves.

💜 Supporting S.H.A.R.E. House 💜

This morning, the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office attended the annual breakfast hosted by S.H.A.R.E. HOUSE , a non-profit organization that provides crisis intervention and ongoing care for victims of family violence.

We’re incredibly proud of two members of our Sheriff’s Office family — April Richman and Deputy Alan Valentine-Nelson — who were recognized with awards for their dedication and compassion.

The food was fantastic, the company even better, and we’re truly grateful to have an organization like S.H.A.R.E. House making a difference in our community every day.
