The Douglasville Police Department is actively recruiting POST- certified law enforcement officers who want more than just a job — they want a career where they are valued, equipped, and supported.
Why officers choose DPD:
We invest in our officers so you can perform at your best.
We’re big enough to offer specialized assignments and real career mobility, but small enough that you are never treated like a number.
Here, leadership knows you. The community sees you. Your work truly makes a difference.
If you’re a certified officer ready to be part of a department that invests in you, we want to talk to you.
Join a team where you matter.

🩸Hey Douglas County, we need your help🩸. Yes, there is a shortage of blood, and we really need you to donate, but we also want you to donate in our county to help us win the "Red Cross Battle of the Badges". Donate blood at the Douglasville Police Department on Tuesday, June 16, between 11 am and 4 pm to help Douglasville Police, Douglas County Fire/EMS Department, and Douglas County Sheriff's Office (Georgia) beat our rivals in the competition, Haralson and Carroll Counties. There is only one location to donate and that is 2083 Fairburn Road at our Community Room. Sign up and donate and you will also receive a t-shirt and $15 e-gift card, plus automatic entry to win one of two $7,500 gift cards.
